I sometimes joke that my radio show (The Bluegrass Special) moved from a 50,000 watt radio station to a 50 watt radio station when it moved to Mountain Country 107.9. That may be an exaggeration but the fact of the matter is — it’s not easy to listen to my show without help from the internet.
If you have a smartphone (or other device), download one of these two radio apps: Simple Radio or Live 365. Both are free and easy to use. Once you download, install and open up the app, you can search for Mountain Country 107.9. Or, search for KRLY in Alpine, California.
I use the Simple Radio app and a pair of bluetooth earbuds and the sound is perfect. I highly recommend it. You can also listen on your computer by going to our website at themountainfm.com and click on the “listen live” link.
Remember — The Bluegrass Special airs on Sundays, 4 to 7 pm (Pacific Time) on Mountain County 107.9. “Nobody Plays More Country.”
